Wolfgang Hohlbein
For this portrait project with Wolfgang Hohlbein, I created a set design that visually reflects his personality and world as a writer. He was asked to bring a meaningful object, which became an important part of the portrait concept and gave the image a more personal and intimate character.

The Story Behind the Shoot
The shoot was built around the idea of creating a portrait that goes beyond a simple likeness. By combining a carefully designed set with a personal object brought by Wolfgang Hohlbein, the image gained a deeper narrative layer and a stronger sense of identity.
The goal was to translate his presence as a writer into a visually distinctive portrait that feels both atmospheric and personal.

The set design helped establish a cinematic and thoughtful environment for the portrait session. Instead of relying on a neutral backdrop, the visual concept created a more considered space that reflects character, authorship, and personal meaning.
The result is a portrait series that combines set design, individuality, and a quiet sense of storytelling, making the final images feel more layered and memorable.
